In association with Northeast Property Auctions Ltd we hold an auction of Teesside properties on the last Monday and Tuesday of every month.

If you answered 'yes' then selling your property by auction could be a good option for you. Offer your property for auction with us and we will give you:

  • Auction for sale board at your property
  • Extensive advertising in North East Property Auctions Ltd newspaper ads
  • Auction properties will be specially displayed in our branches
  • Your property will be advertised in the North East Property Auctions Ltd monthly brochure which will be available in and distributed via the offices of all participating estate agents in the region

There are Two Types of Auction

Unconditional Auction: Where the successful bidder will pay 10% of the purchase price at the auction and will exchange contracts there and then. Property owners will be required to instruct their solicitor to prepare a pack containing the title deeds, a local search, land registry search and any special conditions. The vendor will be responsible for any costs in this respect.

Conditional Auction: Where the successful bidder pays a £ 1000 deposit at the auction with contracts to be exchanged within 28 days. Either party may withdraw from the transaction before exchange of contracts. If the vendor withdraws the £1000 deposit* is returned to the bidder. If the purchaser withdraws from the transaction the £1000 deposit is forfeited and divided between the agent and the vendor.

Vendors must accept that the entry fee and associated costs will be lost if the property does not sell
