Fancy dining out? Due to success of previous years, Teesside Restaurant Week is back from February 7th – 11th, and you can grab a three course meal (starter, main and dessert) for only £20 per person. The deal will run across lunch and dinner from Monday to Thursday, and lunchtimes on Friday. To make sure you’re booking correctly, check with your chosen restaurant to find out the times of the day they’ll be running the special discounted menu (some we have listed below). Whether you want to visit your usual favourites or try something new, it’s a great opportunity to support local business whilst having some good grub. Check out some of our recommendations…Scrann – NortonLocated in the heart of Norton, Scrann is a well-known Italian restaurant with an average of 4* ratings on TripAdvisor. If a starter of deep fried calamari with lemon and basil aioli and pizza for your main sounds tempting, then this wis the spot for you. From pasta to seafood dishes, there’s something for all the family.Check out the full menu here. Muse – Yarm One of the most popular restaurants on Yarm High Street is offering its menu Monday - Friday 12pm -2.30pm and Monday – Thursday 5.30pm - 9pm. The continental café is including mains such as confit chicken leg, pan roast herb coley and pressed belly pork on sweet potato. And don’t worry if you’re a vegetarian or vegan, as wild mushroom and leek pie is also on the menu. Check out the full menu here. Wynyard Golf Club – Wynyard Wynyard Golf Club is situated in the village of Wynyard near Sedgefield and is one of the UK's top golf destinations. Whether you’re a golf fanatic or simply fancy visiting the stunning grounds, definitely take advantage of the offer here. The menu here has plenty of different options and isn’t tied to one cuisine. Ever tried the Teesside delicacy a chicken parmo? Fancy it in a burger? Well, you can here.If that’s not your thing, choose from the traditional likes of fish and chips, beef stew or a Thai green curry, to name a few. The offer is running on Monday 12pm – 3pm, Tuesday and Wednesday 12pm – 5pm and Thursday and Friday 12pm – 8pm. Check out the full menu here. The Devonport – DarlingtonAlthough technically not Teesside but County Durham, The Devonport, which is located on the village green in Middleton One Row, is a great hit with locals. If you like gastro pub food with the likes of slow cooked beef pie, seabream fillet seafood and delicious desserts including sticky toffee pudding and blood orange posset then you’re in for a treat.Available Monday - Friday lunchtime and Monday - Thursday dinnertime. Tomahawk Steakhouse – Yarm/DarlingtonCalling all meat eaters – Tomahawk Steakhouse in either Yarm or Darlington must be on your list for the week.You can get a steak and chips included in the three-course £19.95 offer; starting with salad or soup and finishing with a warm Kinder brownie, doesn’t it sound mouthwatering?And if you fancy being a little extra, your steak can be upgraded with sides and sauces. Canteen and Cocktails is exactly what it says on the tin – if you want a bar atmosphere and great food, then look no further. Starters include the likes of BBQ cauliflower wings, popcorn chicken and fish tacos, while mains consist of burgers and the local favourite, a chicken parmesan. To top it off, desserts feature strawberry and lime cheesecake and chocolate brownie. All perfectly accompanied with a cocktail to wash the meal down. Check out the full menu here.
